Laura Burge (she/her) is a fiction editor, writing coach, and writer. An Advanced Professional Member of the CIEP and member of the EFA, Laura has worked on more than 100 books with independent authors and publishers such as HarperCollins. She dove into the world of fiction editing in 2017 and specializes in fantasy, science fiction, magical realism, and fabulism.
As a neurodiversity advocate and speaker, and ADHDer herself, Laura is passionate about making the writing, editing, and publishing process easier for neurodivergent writers. She also has some exciting projects coming out related to this soon.
After almost ten years living abroad, Laura has returned to the US and now calls Portland, Oregon home. When not immersed in stories, Laura can often be found wandering through a forest, ignoring perfectly good recipes while baking, or bowing to her cat’s every whim.
