Sarah Liu is the owner and founder of Three Fates Editing. She has been editing science fiction and fantasy books since 2012, working mostly with self-publishing authors but also with traditional publishers such as Relay Publishing, Aconyte Books, and Penguin Young Readers. She has earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in creative writing from SUNY Brockport, and a postgraduate certificate in editing from UC Berkeley Extension. She lives near Rochester, NY, with her husband, their daughter, and their two cats. She has a lifelong love of reading, and in fact has a permanent scar on one eye from hitting it on the corner of her bookshelf when she was five and tried to get a book to sneak into bed. She is primarily interested in editing SFF, speculative fiction, and all related genres, as well as poetry.
Sarah has won several awards for her writing, including the William and Hannelore Heyen Poetry Award and the Maggie Fox Poetry Award. She has been published in Banango Street, Moonsick Magazine, Rain Taxi, and Stone Canoe.
